Insanity.

I cannot even begin to describe the insanity of yesterday afternoon.  I work in a relatively nice area with a lot of surrounding businesses.  Around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, police cars swarmed the intersection a block away and there were helicopters flying overhead.  A man had robbed a bank and there was a police-involved shooting.  The robber was killed, and a 2 year-old child was shot.

This is the second shooting within a few blocks of my office in a month.  I really just have no words.  I keep thinking, “This isn’t the ghetto!  This is a NICE area!”  What is this world coming to?!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims’ families.
