Weenie Thanks

10 Mar

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Kayne seems to be back to his spoiled rotten self:

He was very clingy after the seizure. And once again, he went over to his bed (where the seizure occurred) and sniffed it. I have a good friend who is a vet up in New Jersey and I spoke to him at-length about the situation. He’s assured me that its much more difficult for Hubby and I than it is for Kayne. Unfortunately, unless he starts having them more frequently, there’s not really anything we can do about it. There are treatments for seizures, but not for as infrequently as Kayne is having them. Granted, I’d rather him not have them at all, but I wish there was something we could do. Fortunately, studies have shown that the victim tends to not even remember the seizure.

On a much happier note, I really like the Weight Watchers Online tools.  While the whole POINTS system can be very confusing, the online tools completely break it down.  It’s a lot like SparkPeople.… SparkPeople on CRACK.  And the recipes?  Check out my dinner tonight.  Jealous?

Last night, I went for what I hoped would be a quick run before dinner.  My legs felt like lead.  I could definitely still feel a little soreness from running the bridges over the weekend.  Regardless, here’s my crappy splits:

Mile 1: 12:15

Mile 2: 12:50

.43 Miles:4:55

Walk/Cool down .57 miles: 11:00

Meh.  I was not pleased.  But it happens to the best of us, right?
