A Week In Workouts

I tried to workout a lot this week, being Christmas and all…

Sunday 12/20 – 3 mile run & planks

Monday 12/21 – Rest

Tuesday 12/22 – 2.5 mile hill workout on treadmill

Wednesday 12/23 – 5.1 mile bike/hill workout & abs

Thursday 12/24 – 3.96 mile Galloway run

Friday 12/25 – 20 minute walk

Saturday 12/26 – 1.15 mile warm up run, 45 minute circuit training, 20 minute cool-down walk

Circuit Routine:

  • Circuit 1:
    • Squats with 50lbs on the bar; 12 reps
    • 50 crunches on ball
    • Tricep pulldowns; 12 reps
    • Plank
    • Repeat
  • Circuit 2:
    • Single leg lunges with back leg raised; 12 reps each leg
    • 25 reverse crunches
    • Chest flys, 12 reps
    • Side plank
    • Repeat
  • Circuit 3:
    • Weighted calf raises, 50
    • 50 twisting crunches on Bosu
    • Upright row, 12 reps
    • Extended plank
    • Repeat
  • Extra fun:
    • 25 walking lunges
    • 100 bicycle crunches

Sunday 12/27 – Does cleaning the house like a mad woman count? I’ll probably take the dogs on a 30 minute walk after dinner….
